I am completing my student teaching at a high school in Fort Collins,

Colorado the high school is called Fort Collins High School (FCHS). It
has been a part of the Fort Collins community for over 120 years.
Opened in 1890 and has been at its current location since 1995. The

on Wednesday and Thursdays there are odd or even days where
they attend only those classes for 90 minutes that day.

creating the core values for the high school. Each pillar is an expectation as a lambkin; Acceptance, Pride, Integrity,

Classroom Environment Teen Choices 6th HourThe class that I will be focusing my attention towards in this teacher work sample is my 6th hour Teen Choices class.
There are 19 females and 7 males for a total of 26 students in this class. Teen Choices is typically a freshman and
sophomore level class I have two students that are upper classman. In charts below will help visualize the total of males
to females and the total number of students from each grade level. Majority of the class is Freshman which helps me to
understand how I might adjust content, allow late work, and extra help or time knowing that freshman are still adapting
to the work load of high school. I have helped to create a positive and open environment, where students feel
comfortable discussing and talking about their personal life in relation to the content of this class.
