This article discusses the relationship between environmental governance and indigenous
right that have grown to become a complex issue. There are two sides in a situation that involves
environmental governance which includes the right to use the selected environmental for
personal use. There are indigenous people who have the right to their land that would be greatly
affected if people destroyed the environment that they live off of. These indigenous areas were
given their individual rights to protect what they inhabit which is being slowly destroyed due to
deforestation. These rights are not enforced enough to make a difference for these environments
that are in danger of being wiped out. These soft laws have completely ignored Indigenous
rights and caused several environments to slowly die. With the rising emission of gas, climate
have been changing and affecting the living condition and the environment of indigenous people.
The increasing issue has affected the indigenous area as well as our regular life.

Deforestation has caused a change in temperatures over the years. As deforestation continues
to occur, CO2 emissions begin to build up and affect the ozone layer which would lead to a
major change in climate. Such climate changes will become more drastic as time goes by and
eventually it will be hard to recover from. The increasing rate of deforestation means that
eventually an increase in gas emission is not too far off. An increase in gas emission harms plant
life as well as the ozone layer which leads to a higher gas emission rate which will only be going
up. A cause and effect cycle occurs if deforestation continues to be an issue. Such an issue will
continue to change the environment in an alarming rate and affect our atmosphere. The solution
to this crisis is to simply control the loss and creation of trees. Plant and replace trees in order to
save what is left of the planet.

Deforestation has become a rising issue and continues to go up. The increasing rate of
deforestation has caused a great amount of issues around the world. With the decrease of rain
forest, a small amount of oxygen is being given for people to survive. Including a decrease in
oxygen, an increase of gas emission will occur due to the absence of plant life to collect CO2
emission. This lack of a collector will cause a drastic climate change. These rain forests do not
have a definite protective barrier to stop individuals from damaging the environment. With the
lack of enforcement of protection, the rate of deforestation will only go up. When scanning the

rate of deforestation, the loss of trees has gone up and every year rises. This creates a large
number of issues that will put us in a position of desperation. The forests supply a large number
of the world and, with the increasing numbers of lost environments, survival will become more
difficult for especially the poor

Deforestatioin and forest degradation poses a problem worldwide due to human
interaction towards the environment. Interactions can be done directly or indirectly that can harm
the environment in many ways. Human induced emission of greenhouse gases to the atmosphere
is an example of an indirect interaction where the gas harms the environment. Greenhouse gases
is the main source of the lack of biodiversity and destruction of homes. These consequences can
reach a global perspective and a local perspective. The different causes and corresponding
consequences varied throughout the world and all equally as harmful. The power to prevent such
harmful consequences are available and could be implemented to better the environment in many
ways. Actions are being taken to prevent long term consequences that will damage our
environment. The human population, soil, animal life, and habitats are all affected through the
processes that contribute to the global issue that affects us today, deforestation.

The forest is home to many animals that rely on resources found in their
environment. The major factors affecting the forest environment currently are: the
chopping down of trees, the misuse of forests, forest fire, and more. With the large
amount of destructive factors, there are potential game changers for forest that can greatly
increase the health of the environment. Advanced energy and materials are some ways
that we are trying to improve the condition of the environment. If the numbers of forest
loss decreases, the condition in a global scale will improve and create a better living
condition through efficient energy. Climate change has been a problem that affected the
ecosystems of animal and human life globally. The increase of deforestation also leads to
the decrease of homes. For the first time in human history, more than 50% of the worlds
population lives in urban areas and is expected to increase to 70% by the year 2050.

Brazil is improving an issue that has become an issue in many areas around the world. In
the year 2012, Forest loss reached 4,500 square kilometers, which is a steep drop compared to
the loss in forest in 2004 (27,000). The decrease in deforestation was due to the government
deciding to stop deforestation in the late 1980s because Brazil reached a stable amount of land
to support their economy. Even with the boost in economy due to the reduction of deforestation,
the economy has not reached a stable state. The rate of deforestation was still high but slowly
going down with the improvement in farming and forest management. We are currently working

on ways to renovate the ways we use our forest so we can decrease the rate of deforestation and
create a sustainable environment. With the increase of environmentally friendly products, large
companies are starting to pick up the trend and certify themselves as environmentally friendly
companies.
