Psychomotor
The student will demonstrate proper techniques of various dance steps by moving in the correct direction
while using the proper foot placement of each combination. Students will demonstrate rhythm by moving in
time with the beat of the Cupid Shuffle and Drop that #NaeNae.
The student will demonstrate knowledge of dance combinations by memorizing the different steps to each
new combination.
The students will continue to use this dance outside of physical education in a school dance or in a
recreational setting. Students will know the health benefits of dance and use it as a form of physical activity.

The teacher will display a video of the nae nae on the projector to increase student

Have you all ever been to a
school dance? Im sure you
will go to one eventually in
high school with homecoming
and prom. When we were in
middle school it was the
coolest thing ever when a song
came on that everyone got up
and knew all the moves too. If
you feel like you do not have
any dance skill, thats okay
because with line dances the
moves are made up for you
and everyone somewhat looks
the line!

Closure
How many of you will do the
naenae at a dance? Do you
think you would teach your
friends this at home or on the
weekend? The awesome thing
about dance is you can take
out what you do not like and
add your own moves. Dance is
a very unique form of physical
activity because you do not
realize you are actually
working out.
