Class News
1. Library books can be exchanged on Day 2 with Ms. Forgrave and Day 9 with Ms. Tomines. They can also be exchanged any other day
during morning and afternoon recess using a L.L.C. recess pass.

2. HOLIDAYS HOMEWORK :
A. I have assigned math questions for each student in Prodigy math. Students complete these questions as they play. The first
several assignments are on addition and subtraction; the second set, due January 5th, support our Geometry units on shapes.
Log on to view your childs progress, strengths and trouble spots, there is a tremendous amount of information for you to
understand exactly where they are at.
B. Please encourage your child to use RAZ-kids regularly. As mentioned on the class website, apps are available to use RAZ kids in a
more mobile friendly format (i.e., during holiday travel!!!). I am monitoring the childrens progress, including advancement to
new levels, and the results of their quizzes, which link directly to Curriculum standards.
3. Burnamthorpe Public School is collecting donations for the community food banks, as well as new winter clothes such as mittens,
hats and scarves for children in need. Your support is greatly appreciated.
