MTSU WIFI

Sometimes I get better connection
than other times. Campus is
spread out so they have multiple
routers.

A Big Inconvenience

South Alabama University student,

Abbi Greene, says Southerns wifi
is awesome. Maybe because it is a
smaller school! They also have
multiple routers.

Its obvious that wifi is a fundamental enabler. With this being the
21st century, wifi is vital to our education. Without wifi we wouldnt
be able to use laptops, smartphones, tablets, etc. It provides a way of
accessing the internet, without using the data connection provided by
your cell phone carrier. A slow/lack of wifi connection can do
damage to a student on campus. Students rely on being able to bring
their devices to school to be able to do their classwork, homework,
or anything else. But, when their devices wont connect to the wifi
because of the weak connection, it causes a road block.

different Wireless Router box in
each building. That way only the
people in the building use that
router and It isn't busy/slow.

extremely tired of this terrible
inconvenience and says the other
day i was needing to email my
teacher and i couldn't because the
wifi was so slow. They need to fix
the problem ASAP.

Other schools comment on MTSUs wifi. Taylor

Davenport, a Junior at Motlow says, I just have a basic
PC laptop and the wifi at Motlow isn't half bad. I wonder
why MTSU wifi is so slow being such a big campus.
Maybe they need more routers. I hope the have it working
better next semester when I come back..
Its a serious problem that needs to be fixed as soon as
possible!
