ASSESSMENT/EVALUATION:
Cognitive: TTW ask the students to recite different ways they were kind to the classmates during the
lesson.

Affective: TTW will ask the students to give a thumbs up or down if they feel they enjoy being kind to
others.

Psychomotor: TTW observe the students during gameplay specifically looking for good sportsmanship.


ACCOMODATIONS:
For students with special needs, they will be given a buddy to help assist with in each game.

MODIFICATIONS:
For students who are more skilled they will be given smaller boundaries to play the game.
For students who are less skilled they will be given bigger boundaries to play the game.

INTEGRATION:
Geography, where which animals are most likely found.

was kind at the end?

Instant Activity Instruction:


Okay so who can tell me ways to be kind of the game of
dragontails?
TTW then give each student a scarf to tuck into the back or the
side of the pants. When the teacher says go, the students will
perform the locomotor skilled called by the teacher inside the
boundaries given by the teacher. The kids will then try to pull
the scarfs from the other students. If a student pulls a scarf,
they will drop it there on the ground and continue to play.
When a student gets their scarf pulled, they will bend down to
pick it up, tuck it back in and continue playing. When to
teacher says Freeze all student put their hands on their knees
and eyes on the teacher.

The kids will then play dragontails until the teacher says
Freeze.

Activity Description
Culminating Activity Instruction:
Stampede!!
The students will be into two small sided games, splitting the
gym in half. At the end of each side will be 4 hula hoops with
rubber animals inside of them. Going horizontal across the
court will be a line in the middle made of cones dividing each
side from one another. When the teacher says go the student
will try and get the animals from the opponents side of the
court to their side of the court without being tagged. If a
student is tagged on their opponents side of the court, they

have to go behind the hula hoops, pick up an index card, and


perform the exercise on it then return back to their side
without picking up an animal and continue to play. If a player
successfully get an animal back to their side without being
tagged, they set it in their hula hoop. When the teacher says
Freeze, whoever has the most animals on their side wins.

The students will play stampede until the teacher says freeze.
They teacher can also switch which teams play one another
during the lesson.

Can anyone raise their hand and tell me some ways they can be kind to their classmates? What were some
ways you were kind to your classmates during the activity? Where are the animals we played with today
