January 2014

To All Parents of Pre-Nursery children,

I would like to welcome everybody back to this exciting new school term and welcome our new students.
We had a fantastic first term for our Pre-Nursery children. They all settled into the school routine, and
have made enormous progress both in their language and communication skills, and social skills.
Our Pre-Nursery class have been maturing and developing into a well-behaved, polite and friendly class.
We continue to encourage the children to share with each other, to be good friends, to listen to one
another and to help each other.
Throughout this next term we will cover three topics: Food, Colours and Shapes. Through these topics
the children will develop a variety of different skills in all six areas of learning. There is nothing that
makes a topic more realistic than real life experiences, so we are planning a School trip in 2015, which we
are really looking forward to. More information on this will follow next term.
We are very lucky to have our specialist teachers in our school who offer specialist subjects. We shall
continue to have Physical Education taught by Mr. Cardoso and Miss Ramos will be continuing to teach
Music.
