HEALTH EXPECTATIONS

Dear Parent or Guardian:

9/25/14

My name is Mr. Lamping and I will be your students Health Education teacher. I am sure we share high
expectations for your childs success in learning how to be a healthy individual. Please take some time with
your student to read the attached course overview for Health class. In doing so, we can work together to ensure
that your student has a positive learning experience in our class. Though your child may keep the course
overview, I ask you to please sign, detach, and have your student return the bottom portion of this letter. My
goal is to offer some lab opportunities in order for our students to apply some of the physical aspects of Health
Education to a movement related scenario. I highly encourage you to take a supportive role in promoting good
health practices, so your child might be encouraged and motivated by your example.
If you have any questions regarding these topics or resources, please dont hesitate to ask by contacting me at
the information provided below. Thank you for providing me with the opportunity to teach your student. I am
looking forward to a successful semester!

Thank you for your support!

Respectfully,
Mr. Camaron Lamping, (702)799-7280, ex. 4054
