Preparing for Lesson Development

1. What does your pre-assessment observation indicate about your students needs and current
performance and educational needs? Most students do not know many spanish words. Only
one student (a high achieveing student) got 7/8 points. The class adverage was 2.37 points
correct. Being a multiple choice test this could have been due to guessing as well.
2. How will you design the lesson to meet the needs of all learners in your classroom? The lesson
requires participation from the whole class. If they are shy they do not have to speak out loud.
The all will have to answer via the computer over Kahoot.

Evidence of Lesson Effectiveness/Student Learning: Almost half the class got a perfect score on the post
assessment. The lowest score was a 4/8. The class average was 7.12 points. I feel that the students grasped the
concept and with continual practice can easily become masters.
