theymentiontheSNCCinwhichwasmentionedinthebookthatIcheckedoutfromthelibrarywhichisprettycool.
TheSNCCstandsforStudentNonviolentCoordinatingCommittee.Imgoingtobehonesttherewasalotofwords
thatIdidntknowwhattheymeantsoitwasprettydifficultformetounderstandwhatthatpassagewastryingtosay
butItriedmybesttounderstand.FromwhatIunderstoodtheblacksbelievedinutopianismorsomethingbecause
thatkeptonmentioningthatword,thewishedtobuildabetterworldforthemselvesaplacewheretheywouldntfeel
discriminatedfromthewhites.Allthiscoloredpeopletriedtogettheirvoiceheard,formedsomanymovements,and
groupsjustsotheycandosomethingabouttheseparation,theyrehumanstheyshouldntbetreateddifferently
onlybecauseoftheirskincolor.Theywerentjustfightingforfreedombuttheywerefightingforallcoloredpeople
andtoberespectedinsteadofbeingneglected.Evenifleadersgotarrestedtheywouldstillkeepgoingwithout
caringiftheygotarrestedagainandagain,nowthosearetrueherospeoplewhodontgiveup.Thismovements
alsohadvolunteerpeoplewhowerepartofitandtheywouldtravelaroundtosendoutthemessageorjusttobe
heard.

andsomeIdidnt.Theothergroupofpeoplewhoseemedtoplayaprettybigroleinthiswerecollegestudentsor
justregularstudents.IntheSelmatoMontgomerymarchthepeoplereferredtothatdayasBloodySundayIm
assumingbecausealloftheriotsanddeathsthatoccurredthatdayanditmighthavebeenonaSundayaswell.Not
onlydidthewhitepeopleraisedbutsodidtheblackswhichwascalledtheRiseofBlackNationalismandthatswhen
theBlackPantherpartybeganwhichiscrazybecauseallthisriotsstartedhappening.Thisarticlegavemeabetter
understandingonthemovementsallthedifferenttypesoforganizations.

schools,wereinthe21stcenturyshouldntthatallowanystudentaccessschoolwithoutbeing
discriminated.WeprobablydontseeithereinCaliforniabutinotherstatesstudentsarebeingseparated
fromwhitecolorstudentsandtheyarelivinginpoverty.Ireallythinkthattheyshouldstopsayingthe
blacksdontgraduateIknowitsbadbutsomestudentsdograduate.Atleastpeoplearemarchingand
doingsomethingsothatthisproblemcouldbefixed.Notonlydothepeopleshoulddosomethingaboutit
butalsotheschoolsshouldsaysomethingordosomething,donttheywantstudentstolearn?Inthe
middleofthestorytheystartmentioningthecompetitionofjobs.Forexampletheystatethatifblacksstart
doingbetterthantherewouldbeabigcompetitiononthejobmarketandevenaftertheygraduatethe
twicethemuchofwhitepeopleforunemploymentwhichsucks.

todowiththe60s.Fergusonhasbeenanexampleofracialsegregationthathasbeengoingonfor100
years.ThingshavegottenworseinFergusoneversincethatonecopshotaboy,sincethentheresbeen
goingonriots,marches,andprotestorsjustlikeinthe60s.IdidntknowthatFergusonwasawhite
suburbanareauptothe70s,IdontfullybelievethatbutthatswhatIreadonthearticlethatspretty
crazy.IthinkthatitskindawrongthatFergusonisabadcitybecauseoftheschoolsthatshutdown,
industrialclosures,andpeopleslowlystartingtoleavethecity.Insteadofthepolicebeatinguppeoplethey
shoulddosomethingaboutit,Imeanthatswhytheyregettingpaidright?

Noneofthischildrenwantedtouseviolence.Thisinnocentchildrenwereevenarrested,sprayedwitha
waterhose,hitwithbatons,andwerethreatenedwithdogs!Thatscrueltysomethingthatshouldn'tbeen
donetokidswhowanttohelpout.Thebadguysherearethepoliceandpeoplewhodontcareabout
coloredpeople.Evenafterallthebadthingstheywereputthroughtheystillhavemorepowertogoout
andhelp.Somebusinessesdecidedtodesegregateandthosechildrenwhoparticipateinthoseeventswere
expelledbytheirschool.ThiswholesituationwasmarkedavictoryinBirminghambutsomegirlswere
killedwithbombsandsomewereinjuredbuttheireffortwasgood.Nowthosechildrenaretrueheroes.
