Dear Mr. Edyburn:
My name is Mary-Kate Hagedorn, a current graduate student at Liberty University. My
colleagues and I recently completed a review of literature on Mobile Learning for a
technology education course at Liberty University. The contributors, Linda Davis, Mark
Drye, Dolores Hinojosa, Cornelia Emery, Michael Chapple, and I have combined
experience in education of over 20 years. As part of our continuing education we were
required to complete a literature review on Mobile Learning. Enclosed you will find our
proposal for your review.
As Im sure you are aware that mobile learning is a moving, growing entity with multiple
components that school leadership and educators need to be aware of in order to
effectively implement emerging technologies and keep up with new trends. School
districts considering a move from traditional teaching and learning to incorporating
mobile technology require thorough research and planning. With the constant changes of
technology, districts need to justify the technology put into place for students to use as
well as constantly measure the effectiveness of the teachers ability and the students
understanding. This literature review aims to assist by supplying research and trends as
the key parts of a successful technology integration program.
We look forward to your consideration of this topic and the review of our proposal. We
feel the information contained in our review will be profitable to the future of education
on all learning levels.
Sincerely,

Mary-Kate Hagedorn
Liberty University Student
