Cultural Extravaganza at DPSG

DPSG hosted its Annual Function on 7th December, 2014. The Chief Guest for the occasion was
Mr Rob Lynes, Director, British Council. The Guest of Honour was Mr Nalin Kohli, National
spokesperson BJP. The function was presided over by Mr.Om Pathak, Founder DPSG and
Chairman, DPSG Society. The other dignitaries present were Mrs Niharika Pathak, member
DPSG Society, Mr Anshul Pathak, Joint Treasurer, and Mr. Rohit Pathak , member DPSG
Society
Principal, Ms Jyoti Gupta, welcomed the guests and in her address stated that the ethos of the
school rests in the strong sense of standing together as a family, to encourage the students to
dream big so that they develop valuable life skills and become independent, resilient and
confident individuals. She further reiterated that DPSG has carved a niche for itself among the
educational institutions in the country and will spread its wings far and wide. Stating his vision
for the school, Mr. Om Pathak, said that the school aims to have a more vibrant connect with the
community and the parents.
The programme commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest and the
Management Members of the DPSG Society. Thereafter, students of Senior Secondary Wing
presented the annual report listing the year long achievements of the institution in various fields.
The theatrical adaptation of the most cherished of all love legends, the play KRISHNA
RADHAMRIT celebrated the myriad aspects of the many-splendored emotion called love. The
perfectly coordinated rhythmic movement of the students mesmerized the audience. The Chief
Guest lauded the schools efforts to instill confidence in ones abilities and congratulated the
school on being one of the best in the country. He showed his willingness to connect with the
Swachch Bharat Abhiyan. Mr. Rob Lynes appreciated the schools commitment for international
understanding and customized learning for students.
Ms Krishna Singh, Head Mistress, Secondary Wing proposed the vote of thanks. A tribute was
paid to Mr. V.P. Kaura, Secretary, DPSG Society. The programme concluded with the rendition
of the National Anthem.
