Overview/Rationale

In a group students will identify and describe the four


seasons using Movie Maker. The students will google each season to
find a picture and a brief description of each season. After making a
movie of the four seasons student will choose their favorite season
and in a shoe box draw describe their favorite season using colored
paper, cotton, leaves, flowers, and other materials to well describe
their favorite season. Students will color, and cut out shapes or
whats materials needed for their favorite season. Students will then
present their favorite season in a shoe box in front of the class
describing and explaining the season and why they choose that to be
their favorite.

movie of the four seasons (spring, summer, fall, winter).
Choose their favorite season and draw the season they favor
most using crayons, colored paper to make shapes in a show
box to show what the season they like actually looks like.

choose this to be your favorite season.

Assessment

1) As a group students will first go on Movie Maker to make a movie


of the four seasons, spring, summer, fall, winter.
2) Students will choose their favorite season and in a shoe box using
crayons, and colored paper to cut out shapes, and use any
materials in the class room thats needed to show what their
favorite season looks like.
3) As a group students will present their favorite season that they
created in a shoe box describing and explaining and why is it their
favorite season.

Students will be assessed based on:


A rubric evaluating each students creativity in the movie
and the shoe box of their favorite season.
The movie they made on Movie Maker.
Short 10 question quiz on the four seasons.
The shoe box that they described their favorite season using
creativity, color, and detail.
