reader'stheatreactivity.Ialsowantedtohookthestudentsandalsoshowhowprominentthisstoryiseveninpopular
culturetoday,soIchosetoplayasongbyapopularbandthatwasinspiredbythestory.

Ithoughtthatthislessonwouldbealotmoretimeconsumingthanitwas,soIstoppedthesongearly.Itturnedoutto
takeupalotlesstimethanI'danticipated,soIwishIhadallowedtheentiresongtoplay.Ialsopassedoutan
assignmentbeforeexplainingthedirections,andthismeantthatwhenIdidexplainit,thestudentsweredistractedsoI
endeduphavingtorepeatmyself.

Onestudent,Logan,oftensitsinthecornerandseemsunengaged.Today,however,heseemedstimulatedbythesong
atthebeginningandwasengagedinthereadingbecausethereaders'theatreactivityhadaroleforeachstudentto
read.
Improvements
Iwouldmanagemytimemoreeffectively,trytomovearoundtheroommore,andmakesuretogiveinstructionsbefore
distributingmaterials.
