Sandra To Be Freed Court Rules

In a decision that has brought cheers
Sandras to be freed after many years
Of freedom shes been deprived
Since in Argentina she did arrive
Germany was Miss Sandras place of birth
Low cognitive function deemed little worth
Though shes twenty-nine years old
Into virtual slavery shes been sold
As an object, she shouldnt be treated
Such is unlawful, the court repeated
To show that for release shes fit
Supporters used a habeas corpus writ
Because she cant speak a word
Freedom-lovers voices were heard
Though Sandra cant read or write
To release her they put up a fight
Its a truly awful thing, they said
Nude but for a blanket over her head
No sentient being may be treated that way
Those champions of freedom did say
Similar cases appealed in the USA
Didnt turn out that favorable way
They have no worth, opponents insist
As calls for freedom they strongly resist
Baring appeals, Sandra will be on her own
With her illegal captivity thankfully gone
