School Magazine Peer Feedback Front

Cover (feedback from Isabelle)

Are the fonts readable? Are there a
maximum of 3 fonts? Have they used a
different font for their masthead and their
coverlines?

The fonts are readable and clear. Theyve used three

different fonts for their masthead, puff and kickers which
clearly shows the different sections of their magazine.

Is there a clear colour scheme? Is there a

sense of branding / House style

Theres a clear colour scheme of green and grey, it makes

the front cover quite simple and not very exciting, however
the shade of green is quite eye catching.

Is the eye flow natural?

Yes it is.
Is the picture believable/well edited?

The picture I believable as it shows a student going into the

building, its not edited which can perhaps make the
photograph a bit bland.

Is the picture suitable for the magazine?

(Subject, model, mise-en-scene, costume,
props, location)

Yes it is suitable. However, the student does not have a

backpack maybe confusing the reader as theyre not sure
whos walking into the building. Additionally, the model is
not dressed very formally.

Is Spelling Punctuation and Grammar

accurate-Are there any typos?

The spelling and grammar is perfect, no typos.

Are coverlines lined up

Yes they are lined up, but theyre quite long so maybe they
could be shorter and are not very exciting.

Are all key elements there (Masthead,

dateline, main cover line, other coverlines
(kickers+explanatory)

Is the page on A4 (21cmx29.7cm)

There is a masthead, however there is no date line or main

cover lines, there are no explanations under the kickers
which is not very informative.
Yes, it is A4 size

Other comments
Perhaps more information could be included on the front
