Learning Outcomes [ASSURE (State Objectives)]
At the end of the course,
The students will be able to identify at least 7 out of 9 new vocabulary items related to clothes when
they see the pictures of those clothes with the help of Prezi presentation and flash cards.
The students will be able to pronounce the words correctly by repeating the teacher three times.
The students will be able to identify the picture of a given clothing item and match it with its spelling
by doing a matching activity.
The students will be able to spell at least 7 out of 9 of the vocabulary items correctly by filling the gaps
of the missing letters in a given activity by looking at the pictures next to the words.
The students will be able to identify the meaning of have got/has got in a sentence and differentiate
between the two forms with the help of the sentences in the Prezi presentation.
The students will be able to fill in all the blanks with have got/ has got in a given sentence when they
are provided which subjects to use.

Direct Method with the help of Presentation Technique and fill-in-the-blanks and a matching activity.
Teaching Activities [ASSURE (Utilize Technology, Media, and Materials and Require Learner Participation)]
The teacher employs presentation technique by using the Prezi presentation tool. Direct Method is employed
because the grammar rules are not taught explicitly. The students are expected to induce the knowledge from
the presentation and activities. The students are expected to work hands-on by coming to the board and
marking their answers on the board during the matching activity.

Summary
It is aimed to teach have got/has got structure and 9 vocabulary items related to clothes. ( Skirt, trousers,
dress, shirts, t-shirt, blouse, coat, sweater, shoes)
Measurement & Evaluation
The fill-in-the-blanks, fill-in-the-letter gaps activity and the matching activity are used to evaluate and
reinforce the newly taught grammar structures and vocabulary items.

At the end of the course,
-The students will be able to identify andrecognize at least 7 out of 10 vocabulary items when listening to the
video prepared with GoAnimate.
- The students will be able to use the newly learnt words and the already learnt words in accordance with their
meaning and form by filling a cloze test.
-The students will recollect their previous knowledge on weather conditions by looking at the worksheet on
which there are the pictures related to each condition and its name.
-The students will be able to express themselves orally about what they wear based on the weather conditions
by using the vocabulary items they learnt in the previous lesson.

The teacher employs video technique by using Go-Animate video tool. Direct Method is employed because it is
aimed to teach students how to communicate according to the context. The students are expected to induce
the knowledge from the video and activities.
To have the students participated in the group work speaking activities, each group is given an audio recorder
and a worksheet, about which they will speak, to record their speaking during the activity.
For the evaluation part, each student is given a cloze test activity, in which they are supposed to fill in the
blanks in the test with the given words in the box.

Summary
It is aimed to improve the communication skills of the students by doing speaking and listening activities.
Measurement & Evaluation
The audio recorder is used to evaluate how their speaking skills improved. Besides, cloze test is used to
evaluate the students vocabulary skills.

The students will be able to identify at least 5 out of 7 new vocabulary items related to the accessories
when they see the pictures of those accessories via Concept Map tools.
The students will be able form grammatically correct sentences about what they are wearing by using
the present continuous tense form of the verb wear upon being given informative worksheets
related to the topic.
The students will be able to identify where the accessories are used in the body and practice how they
are spelled.
The students will be able to answer at least 8 out of 10 questions correctly with the help of a survey on
what they have learnt throughout the unit.

Direct Method is used in this session to teach the grammar rules inductively with the help of Prezi Presentation
and teach vocabulary with the help of Concept Map and matching activity.
Besides FLE specific methods, presentation technique is used for teaching vocabulary.
Teaching Activities [ASSURE (Utilize Technology, Media, and Materials and Require Learner Participation)]
The teacher employs mapping technique by using Concept Map Tools. The teacher shows the vocabulary items
from the concept map and pronounces them. She wants the students to tell what they are and how they are
used. To reinforce the newly learnt vocabulary, the teacher distributes an activity in which the students are
supposed to match the accessories with the related part of the body and write their names next to the related
body part. By doing that, it is aimed to teach the correct spelling of the word. By using the Prezi Presentation,
it is aimed to teach the students how to set grammatical sentences besides teaching the vocabulary items. The
students are expected to induce the knowledge from the Prezi Presentation and Concept Map.
