Interview Reflection

An-essential-elements that lead to-get the desired job-are to distinctive and-differentiate

yourself-from the other candidates,create a special-picture about you and amaze-the company
that-offers the job through the-process of writing the CV and the-cover letter and by performingcorrectly in the-interview. It was requested to write Curriculum Vitae,cover letter and carry out
an interview for an application for Assistant Manager Training-Program-position in-BAPCO
Company-and the following-paragraphs will illustrate my-reflection-regard this-whole
experience.
As I am-graduating after one-year and-after that I will face the-process of applying for a job,I
really-find it very-valuable experience-to have an opportunity to know the correct tips-of writing
the CV,cover letter and carrying-out the-interview.In regard the CV,I find it very useful torecognize the points that should be included,layout, the-words that have-to be used to show that
that-I have that particular skill and elements that should be excluded,for example:I learn the
process of writing the education section, recognize including-past tense-verbs to show that Ihave already-those particular skills and-also I know the exact layout of forming the CV.Thus, in
future,I will find it very easy to write the CV in a correct manner and in the way that impress the
company that I am applying to-as this experience provide me an opportunity to know the righttips of writing it and I will try to-make it more shorter as I have written a long CV that includes
too much details and the employers do not have a time to read a long CV as they have many
candidates.In regard the cover letter,it is a very useful experience for me to recognize the tips of
writing the cover letter and the elements of it as it is my first time to hear about this letter and I
always think that is enough to send a regular email with a CV in attachment to apply for the job.
This experience will let the company that will apply for in future believes that I am suitable for
the job as I recognize the tips for persuading the company for example showing how I am
impress about their activities .In future,I will try to use more impact words and sentences that
will show to the company about my desire to work to them.
In regard the interview,I have gained a really good experience,I recognize about the preparation
of the interview for example: being on time,the formal appearance ,reading about the company
for instance: knowing about their serves or products , activities , vision , values and mission.In
addition,this experience provides to me a knowledge regard the approach of answering the
questions in the way that it is correct and amaze the employer for example : I recognize that

answering the question that says( tell me about yourself ) is not about saying about my personal
information,it is about telling about my skills and experience.I recognize it is essential to show
that I am comfortable and relax and try to hide any nervous feeling and to be kind and friendly
and smile to the interviewer.Moreover,I notice that I should sell my skills and abilities in the way
that impress the interviewer and try to link the answers with evidence that proves that I have it
for instance: telling an example of a previous experience and a link to my achievements and
qualifications.Furthermore,it is essential to be prepared enough for the interview and try to look
for answers for the expected questions before the interview. Added to that,the answers of the
questions should not be too long and too short and the answer should sufficiently answer all of
the question elements.Moreover, to be professional during the interview and to always use
appropriate words in his answer and respond in a respectful way. Also,to not provide extra
information that is irrelevant to what I am applying to and to not interrupt the interviewer
through his talking.Moreover,to be honest and do not lie through answering as it will be showed
from the face expression and the interviewer will recognize that.Added to that,to demonstrate
through the interview and in depth that I have certain skills and also to talk in an understandable
way where the interviewer can understand what I say and to be able to answer the questions in a
direct way.This experience will definitely assist me in my future job interview as I am familiar in
knowing about the type of questions that will be asked and the correct way of answering
them,the interview preparation and the tips that should be applied to have a successful interview.
If I have an opportunity to reset the interview, I will try to link my answers with more examples
to show that I am really having a particular skills .Also,to answer the questions in direct way and
avoid rounding on them .Furthermore, I will talk in slower tone and in more understandable way
and I will try to be provide more professional information and will avoid saying long answers
that include irrelevant details .Furthermore,I will set in the interview in more straight and
professional way and try to talk more fluently without an interruption. In addition, I will try to
demonstrate more of my skills and link them to the job.
Many of my previous experience have assist me in performing better in the interview,for
example: I have conducted a discussion in the school about the(The reasons for getting low
marks in Exams)and this experience have increased my confident to meet and communicate with
new people and l have learnt how to deliver my ideas to others.In addition,I have conducted a
wide range of presentations in the university for example: in the food that changed the world

elective,I have presented the presentation to all the class and in front of many tutors and I was
able to explain and clarify my ideas, discuss my points and answer the questions in
understandable and correct manner .Furthermore, in the Human Recourses Course,I have carried
out an interview as an employer and I have recognized the questions that the employer are asking
the candidate as I have designed them and I noticed about the organization of the interview .I am
a social and flexible person that like to communicate fluently with different people and I am an
organized person that always practice and create plans before doing the work. I am confident
person that trust her abilities and skills.All of the previous experience and my personality assist
me in performing the interview in a correct manner for example:I was confident and relax and I
was easily communicating with the interviewers. Also ,I was smiling and kind and I showed that
I have a knowledge regard my skills and abilities and I was organized as I showed that I have
prepared several answers . I demonstrated also that I have a notice about the interview correct
tips as I have applied them.
As it is my first time to be interviewed,I tried to be prepared enough and I have read a wide
range of articles and watched some videos that assisted me in performing better in the interview.I
benefited from an article that I have read about the common mistakes in the interview as I
avoided them through the perpetration and performing the interview for instance: asking about
the salary,failure to ask good questions,bringing up personal details,interrupting the
interviewer,dressing inappropriately,lying , failure to highlight my achievements and avoiding
these mistakes assist me in carrying out a good interview(20 Common Job Interview Mistakes
to Avoid, 2013).In addition,I have watched a video about a story of a bad interview and the way
of fixing the mistakes that happened and it is really a useful video that assist me in recognizing
many tips for interview preparation and the correct way of answering the questions for example:
I notice that the interviewee has to give a good impression when he comes the interview, be
confident and do not show nervous or stress , telling about your self should not include personal
information but it is about telling about the previous experience and about the personality and
skills ,the interviewee has to illustrate his professional and special qualities in the way that
differentiate himself and impress the employer and to be honest and respond in the way that
shows that you have a particular skills(JobTestPrep, 2011).Recognizing these points really assist
me in knowing the interview right tips and I have applied them in the interview.In addition,I
have read an article that demonstrates more than one hundred twenty of the interview common

questions and the tips of answering each question and an example of a best answer for each of
them and this help me in responding better to similar questions that I have been asked in the
interview for example :answering do you work well with other people question is about
expressing that you are a type of person that listen effectively to others ,able to mediate conflicts
between employees,leading group discussions,motivating subordinates to improve performance
and also provide an example of a successful experience of working in group and illustrate it in
the way that convince the employer that you have that certain skill (Doyle, n.d ).Moreover , as it
is my first time of carrying out an interview as an interviewee and the stress and nervous can
occur,I have followed the tips that I have read in an article to reduce the amount of the stress and
nervous and this assisted me in being more confident in the interview and the tips are :
preparations before interview , dress appropriately,document check, arrive early,breath a fresh
air,positive thinking and happy thoughts ,visualize the activities before actually performing them
and having enough sleep before the interview day.These steps really reduce the nervous amount
and have a huge impact of letting me to feel more relax and confident (What to do before an
interview, 2013).
The employer -have a-wide range of-applicants-for the-job and if you want to get it,you have to
differentiate-yourself through-presenting yourself-as a suitable-person that has all the needed
requirements and give ensure to the company that it will value from hiring you.This experience
of writing the CV,the cover letter and carrying out the-interview make the road of getting my
desired future-job-easy as I-have been able-to write-a-correct cover letter and-CV that suit withthe job requirements and-includes-all of the-elements and-in the way that persuade and impress
the employer . In addition,to be able to perform the interview-in a correct-manner-and in-the way
that-represents-my suitability-to the-job.
