NOTE:
1. Candidate from Engineering ,Management Studies and MCA stream is required to choose 4
subjects, out of which one subject namely RESEARCH METHODOLOGY is compulsory. In the
remaining 3 courses, the candidate may choose 2 courses from the parent stream and may
choose one course from any Engineering streams recommended by the Guide. Otherwise , The
candidate shall choose 3 courses from the Parent Stream.
2. In applied sciences, a Ph.D. /M.Sc.(Enng.) by Research candidate is required to choose 6
subjects, out of which one subject namely RESEARCH METHODOLOGY is compulsory. In the
remaining 5 courses, the candidate may choose 4 courses from the parent stream and may
choose one course from any streams recommended by the Guide. Otherwise. The candidate
shall choose 5 courses from the Parent Stream.
3. In addition to the above, candidate seeking to upgrade from M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch. to Ph.D.
under integrated dual degree program shall undertake a course on RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
prescribed by the University
4. The candidates are required to fill up all the details in the above format and produce the same
while attending the presentation.
