Remove 4 Allen screws and remove valve with filter assembly. Discard seals. Refit 1. Clean filter with valve housing and mating faces, 2. Use new seals, fit filter and valve assembly, tighten Allen screws to 8 Nm. 3. Position injector harness and secure with screws 4, Connect multiplugs to injectors. 5. Fitair cleaner element. GH BCL casyPorEMISSION CONTROL Purge control valve - K1.8 Purge control valve - KV6 17.15.06 ~~ 17.15.06 Remove Remove 1. Disconnect battery earth lead, Release purge control valve from battery tray. 3. Disconnect vacuum hose from purge control valve, 4, Disconnect multiplug base of purge control valve, 5. Remove purge control valve from tank vent hose. Refit 1. Fit purge control valve to tank vent hose, fit multiplug and secure purge control valve to battery box. Fit vacuum hose to purge control valve. 3. Connect battery earth lead. 1. Disconnect battery earth lead. 2. Disconnect multiplug from purge control valve. 3. Release clip and disconnect hose from purge control valve. 4, Remove screw and plain washer securing purge control valve to manifold chamber. 5. Remove purge control valve, remove and discard seal, 1. Clean purge control valve and mating face on manifold chamber. 2. Fitnew seal to purge control valve. 3. Position purge control valve to manifold chamber, secure with plain washer and screw. 4, Connect hose and multiplug to purge control valve. 5. Connect battery earth lead. 17-2 REPAIRS BCL easyPDFEMISSION CONTROL "iy é Canister - charcoal Valve - EGR - M47R 17.15.13 Remove 1. Raise rear of vehicle, one side. WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always ‘support the vehicle on safety stands. 2. Remove bolt securing canister to chassis and release canister. 3. Disconnect air vent pipe. 4, Disconnect and release purge valve and tank pipes from canister. 5. Remove charcoal canister. CAUTION: Always fit plugs to open connections to prevent contamination. Refit 1. Ensure all connections are clean. 2. Connect tank pipe, purge valve pipe and vent hose to canister. 3. Fit canister to chassis and secure with bolt >= 17.45.01 Remove 1. Disconnect battery earth lead. 2. Remove acoustic cover. US ENGINE - M47R, REPAIRS, Cover - engine acoustic. 3. Remove 5 screws securing air intake duct to bonnet platform and inlet manifold. 4, Release and remove air intake duct. 5. Loosen clip and disconnect air intake hose from EGR valve. 6. Disconnect vacuum hose from EGR valve. 7. Loosen clamp screw and remove clamp from EGR pipe to EGR valve. 8 Remove 4 Allen screws and remove EGR valve. Discard seal. Refit 1. Clean EGR valve and mating face on inlet manifold, BCL easyPDFEMISSION CONTROL 2. Clean EGR pipe flange and mating face of EGR: valve, 3. Fit new seal to inlet manifold. 4, Fit EGR valve and tighten Allen screws evenly to 10 Nm. 5. Fit EGR pipe clamp and tighten screw. 6. Connect vacuum hose to EGR valve. 7. Connect air intake hose to EGR valve and secure with clip. 8, Fitair intake duct and secure with screws 9. Fit acoustic cover. US ENGINE - M47R, REPAIRS, Cover - engine acoustic. 10. Connect battery earth lead. Solenoid valve - EGR - M47R >= 17.45.04 Remove 1. Disconnect battery earth lead. 2. Remove acoustic cover. US" ENGINE - M47R, REPAIRS, Cover - ‘engine acoustic. 3. Remove § screws securing air intake duct to inlet manifold and bonnet platform. 4, Release and remove air intake duct. 5. Disconnect multiplug from EGR solenoid valve. 6. Remove 2 bolts securing EGR solenoid bracket to cylinder block. 17-4 REPAIRS BCL easyPDFEMISSION CONTROL "iy é 7. Identify and disconnect vacuum hoses. 8. Remove EGR solenoid valve and bracket assembly, 9. Remove 2 nuts and remove EGR solenoid valve from bracket, Refit 1. Fit EGR solenoid valve to bracket and secure with nuts. 2. Position EGR solenoid valve, identify and connect vacuum hoses and tighten bolts to 10 Nm. Connect multiplug to EGR valve. Fit air duct and secure with screws Fit acoustic cover.
