To optimize casting production by planning of resources and coordinating activities

with Core shop, sand plant and Melting based on customer requirements

Responsibilities &
Key Deliverables

To reduce casting rejections by improving current foundry processes and

coordinating with Quality department
To monitor Daily Work Management activities of Mold Shop.
To identify & reduce idle time by removing mould production bottlenecks by
coordinating with maintenance
Planning of weekly preventive maintenance in mould shop & their daily monitoring

Training of manpower based on training needs in mould shop specific technical

areas
To analyze dimension & physical defect casting rejection and feedback for the
tooling correction, coordinating with the quality department.
To Facilitate TPM & 5S Activities in Mould shop
Experience

Qualification

Diplima in Mechanical
Defect analysis and guiding the team in reducing rejection
Improving productivity by eliminating all wastages/losses
Knowledge of Foundry techniques
Co-ordination with Maintenance team for preventive maintenance
Optimization of moulding cost by practicing improvement activities

Competencies

TPM/TWM implementation
Training of Cell Members regarding moulding and green sand practice.
Man-Power management skills,
