Controller Operation

DualShock4 MasterMod Controller

You will need to sync your controller with the console as you would with a non-modified DualShock4
controller.
One of the most helpful features, especially for new users is the reset function. At any time to shut off
all mods hold Right on the D pad for 5 seconds. The LED will flash indicating the mod has been reset.
With the myriad of modes offered in the MasterMod, there is a learning curve before comfortably
and confidently utilizing all available features.
Some modes are incompatible with others and when one is activated, it will automatically deactivate
the other. For example one cannot have both Akimbo and Quickscope Shot activated simultaneously.
To begin with Rapid Fire double tap D Left and the LED will flash indicating Rapid Fire is activated. Once
Rapid Fire is activated you can cycle through the four different rapid fire speeds by double tapping D
up or down. The LED will flash once for speed 1, twice for speed 2, and so on.
Due to weapon variations and fire rate limitations, the fastest Rapid Fire speed will be weapon
dependent. For your weapon of choice you will want to try out all 4 speeds of Rapid Fire to determine
which one is fastest or preferred by you.
In addition to the 4 preprogrammed Rapid Fire speeds, this mod has an adjustable rapid fire mode
which is activated by triple tapping L2. Your speed can then be adjusted by double tapping up or down
to increase or decrease the speed respectively. The LED will flash faster or slower as the speed is
adjusted.
