I have known XXXforthe past one year as I am teaching himEdexcel A-levels chemistry
subject. As his lecturer. I have had an opportunity to observe the student's participation
and interaction in class and to evaluate the student's knowledge of the subject matter. The
student is one of the top achievers in my class. He has a brilliant mind and on many
occasions has proved that he goes the extra mile to gain knowledge.
His consistent hardwork served himwell as he scored A in his first module exam and did
fairly well in his recent internal trial examination. The student has always been ableto think
outsidethe box and asked questions that have not occurred to any other students in the
class. As such, the other students benefit through the intellectual questions that he
proposes in class. Often, the student asks concepts that are not found in the text
book, which proves that the student does extra reading even beyond what the subject
requires from him.
On several occasions when the student could not deliver goodgrades in assessments he
showed signs of disappointment with himself. However, this is quickly followed
by determination on correcting his mistakes and learning to improve himself to obtain
