Mission
Ithasbecomemymissionasafutureeducatortoleadwiththeutmostproficiency,
knowledgewithtechnologyandresourcesmadeavailabletome,toenhanceeverystudentthat
comesintomyclassroomandincreasetheiruseoftechnologyinsidetheclassroom.Iwill
provideallthenecessarytoolstoenhancetheuseoftechnologythatalignswiththecurriculum
goalsIhavemade.IwillcontinuetoimprovethelivesofeverychildthatIhaveinmylife.My
classroomwillbefilledwithamulticulturalenvironmentalongwithhonestyand
communication.(1)Mystudentsthatareinmyclasswilllearnhowtobecomegreatpeers,
communicatorsandinspireoneanothertofurthersucceed.Iwanttomakemyteaching
experienceinterestingforallmystudentsaswellasmyfellowpeers.Iwillproducelessonsand
activitiesthatwillinspireallmystudentstothinkoutsideofthebox.(3)Iwillfurthertheir
talents,goalsandeachskilltheypossess.Mymissionwillalsobetoagoodlistenerandhonest
educator.Iwillholdalastingimpressionandbondwitheverystudentsthatleavesmy
classroom.
Vision
Myvisionasaneducatoristhatallmystudentswillhaveafairchance.Eachchildwill
betreatedequalandnoonefavoredoveranother.Myvisioncreatesanenvironmentwhere
studentscanusetechnologytoattainskillstohelpthemsucceedeffectivelyandassistswith
thingsthattheymakecomeacrossintheireducation.Studentswillsuccessfullylearnhowto
thesetoolstoachievealltheacademicgoalsinwhichtheymayhave.(3)Theywillbepositively
encouragedtoreachtheirfullpotential,whilelearninghowtomanagetheirowntime.Theuse
oftechnologywillaidthemintheirinstructionofcompletingthetaskassignedtothem.The
studentswillbetaughtthedangersthatmayarisefromtheuseoftechnologyintheclassroom.
Technologycanstimulatethemindsofstudentsandhelpthemseethingsfromadifferent
perspective.
CommunicationPlan
Communicationisthemostimportantthingbetweenteachers,studentsandfamilies.Itis
acriticalpartofastudentsacademicsuccess.AsaneducatoritismyjobtomakesurethatI
knowhowtokeepanopenlineofcommunicationwithallmystudentsandparents.Ialsoneed
tokeeplinesopenwiththeschoolcommunityandstakeholders.Usingtechnologyandlearning
toolsaidsinthecommunicationskills.Usingprogramslikeremind101helpstheteacher/parent
communicationline.Beingthatindividualstodayhavesuchbusylives,technologyand
programslikeremind101(1)helpassurethatallendsaremetwhenitcomestocommunicating
effectually.Teachersspendalotoftimewitherinoroutofschooldoingthingssuchasgrading
papers.Itisshownthatwhenstudentsareinanactiveroleratherthanthepassiveroleof
recipientofinformationtransmittedbyateacher.(2)
