of A Midsu
er Night s Drea
Willia Shakespeare at the Ce trepoi t Theatre, DUCTAC,
Mall of the Emirates.
As the a e suggests, Shakespeare Kidz ai to ake li e theatre e jo a le for ou ger
viewers and this makes for a great and accessible first experience of Shakespeare. The company
uses a combination of authentic Shakespearian language and Standard English, along with
songs, to bring the plays to life.
In the coming years, Shakespeare and other playwrights form a large part of the English
Language A and B MYP Curriculum; therefore this trip should help provide a solid foundation
for future learning.
This opportunity is available to all Grade 6 & 7 students. Please note that the total cost payable,
including transport will be 180 AED.
Buses will leave Uptown School at 10.15am and return at 3.15pm
Prior to departure, classes will take place as per normal timetable
Please bring a packed lunch, drinks and snacks
Deadline for tickets is Wednesday 10th December 2014 and will not be available after this date.
