Dear Studio films,
Hello I am Grace Cooper and I am a student at Del Mar middle school. I have recently
red a book The Selection by Kiera Cass. I enjoyed this book for many reasons and I
know many people with the same feeling. I feel that you should make a movie about
this book because I think many people will enjoy this movie when or if its made. I
would rate this book a PG-13 movie and no one under 13 should see it. Also I think
that this book will come to the enlightenment of ages 13 and up.
There are three ways that I would describe this book, romantic, captivating, and
creative. I describe this book as romantic because the main character America
Singer has a strong connection with her boyfriend Aspen that she does not want to
leave behind. And when she gets to the castle for the competition she feels another
strong connection with the prince when she leaves Aspen at her old village. I think
the romance in this book between America and the prince is strong and brings the
book together.
Also another way to describe this book was captivating. In this book the romance
made it more captivating. The ups and downs between Prince Maxon and America,
the tragic moment when she leaves her family, and when her best friend is getting
punished for the mistake that she made, all make me want to read more. Having
these captivating moments in the book and hopefully soon in a movie I know will
make each person more engaged.
Overall I think this book is beyond creative with its words and visions. I think this
book is creative because when I am reading it I can really picture the scenes and I
feel like I am in the story. When actually creating this book into a film we can watch
the story come to life.
Sincerely,

Grace Cooper
