Lieutenant duties involve supervising fire service companies during
all emergency operations and non-emergency calls. Managing daily

operations of a firehouse that include, facilitating safety and skills


training, office duties, proper documentation and records of safety
and firehouse operations. Also, the incumbent has established a
positive working relationship between fire staff, local residents, and
businesses through community outreach such as school functions,
community meetings, and individual meetings.
2013-Present

Adjunct Fire Instructor, Baltimore City Fire Department


Baltimore City Fire Academy
Primary duties include planning, developing, and deliver various
training models to fire personnel on how to respond and mitigate
hazardous incidents, extinguish fires, perform rescues and provide
emergency medical services. In addition, the incumbent instructs
future Fire Officers on how to be effective leaders and skills needed
to effectively supervise within the fire department. Also teaches
advanced Incident Command Systems classes to personnel who
work in the public safety field.

2014-Present

Auxiliary Staff, Mayors Office of Emergency Management


Liaison Officer, EOC Staff and Special Events Planning
Primary duties include being a Liaison Officer on large incidents
that arise in the city. Secondary duties include staffing the
Emergency Operations Center when ordered by the Mayor or the
Director of Emergency Management. Lastly, I have been involved
with special events planning in regards to contingency planning and
evacuation planning for the largest event ever held in the City of
Baltimore.

Corporal, United States Marine Corps


Maintenance Chief/Platoon Leader
Primary duties included maintaining combat readiness of a fleet of
military vehicles and a platoon of Marines. As a NonCommissioned Officer, I trained, supervised, and mentored junior
Marines in all aspects of being a Marine and their job related duties.

Christian Volunteer Program, Hiss United Methodist Church
As a team leader, traveled to Central American countries to provide
food, health care, and construction services to people in need. As a
2015 team leader, my responsibilities are to coordinate recruitment

Nicaragua.
