This week we are learning:

Transportation

Circle Time Review

Circle time is always the time to go
over the Days of the Week, the
weather, songs learned in the past
and previous topics. I would like to
spend more time with the numbers
workbook. We will practice numbers
with games, songs and the
workbook.

Dates: January 12-15, 2015

Activity Time

Vocabulary: Car, boat, train, truck, jeep, police car, ambulance, fire truck,
motorcycle, bicycle, bus, helicopter
Sentence Structures: What is this? It is a struck. Is it a fire truck? Yes/No,
it's a police car.
Activities: The students have been introduced to most of the forms of
transportation. Last week, we had a bit of fun with the red light, green
light game and will continue on with this as well. We will discuss whether
the type of transportation is in the air, on the land or in the sea. It will
keep the students activated and motivated. We will make paper planes,
finish floating boats and we will watch a transportation video.

New Letters and Sounds

Review

This week we will be blending a bit more. The students will pick a letter out of a cup and we will
practice blending the vowels with the selected letter..

We will review letters Jj, Zz, Ww,

Vv, Yy, Xx and Qq.
