Objective: The students will practice the melodic element of Lah.


Song used to teach: Tideo
Warm up:
Teacher sings song Tideo and asks the students sing the song in their head with
the teacher keeping the beat. Teacher sings again with students singing along.
Review:
Teacher sings come follow me shows whilst showing the melodic contour in the
air. (twice)
Students sing along and show melodic contour with eyes closed.
Open your eyes and see how you went.
Students sing with teacher and correct mistakes in their contours.
Point: (Practice)
You may not sing Ray aloud.
Students sing.
You may not sing Mi or Ray aloud.
Students sing.
You may not sing Soh but can now sing Ray and Mi.
Reinforcement:
Teacher to divide class into 2 and then 4 parts to do some canon work.
Sing song together to finish.
