Week four 1

The most essential part teacher need to be aware about it is


instructional planning which content several kind of preparation
such as goals and objectives for the each lesson. The reason of
having effective objective lesson is to help learners achieve and
success in the classroom. There are several components to
create an effective instruction objective which teacher followed
to create good lesson. Heinich and his colleagues (2002)
emphasize that objective contain four main parts which called
ABCD's (Components and objectives, 2014). Therefore, this make
good learning objective which ensure that learning is
consideration on what is going on during the lesson.
Objective of lesson mean what students will learn at the end
of the lesson so teacher will plan the objective to achieve the
goal of the lesson. Having learning objective in lesson is very
significant because its give teacher opportunity to find out what
and how students to study, help to drawing a sequence of
organized instructional topics which assist and giving learner
clear picture of what expect them to do and develop their
comprehension. Most of teacher they use Blooms Taxonomy to
write objectives for lesson plans. Reason for this the Taxonomy
has various levels which help teacher to write objectives. Do you
thinks there is other ways to use to create effective learning
objective? When I start to writ objective I considerate in few
things such as understand the course curriculum and what
require things that I need to educate learner. Moreover, provide

best strategies to support learner such as using appropriate
activities which content different learning style and teacher
should be aware about students level. In addition, teacher make
students most centered than educator. This is because it is give
leaner chance to improve their knowledge and explain things
between each other. Bloom (1956) suggested that teacher should
use engagement activity that involve students- centered which
help them to discover things (Blooms Taxonomy n.d.). For
example, in my teaching practice at high school when I explain
lesson about Camtasia studio and one part of lesson is pupils will
work in group to discover one tool in program and learn it. After,
each group they will teach students. Furthermore, when I write
the learning objective I use some comment words such as
illustrate, classify, select, label and others. In addition, all of this
words connect to Blooms Taxonomy which guide learner to
develop their knowledge and intellectual.
After complete the lesson teacher need to find out it lesson
were effective and reached to the goal so teacher will reflect her
work in different way. Firstly, teacher will create stander which
teacher used while students doing work and find out the result if
it is appropriate or not. Purpose for this finding if objective was
suitable or need some change so teacher will observe students
participate during class. Secondly, teacher gets learners view of
point in different way such as writing or speak. For example, in
my teaching practice I give learner card which have some

questions like what do you like about lesson, what things you
dont like and recommendation for next lesson. This is good way
and helpful because teacher will make things that learner enjoy
about it doing getting new knowledge. Do you think should
ignore this part? Do teacher need to have alternative to reflect on
learning objectives? For my perspective, this is main part it
teacher ignore this stage teacher will not able to find it leaner
understand somethings or no. Educator should have more than
one technique to use because it is enhance learner and they will
not feel board.
Teaching strategies is very useful which make teachers to
think about it is effective or no while they use it during lessons. In
my teaching practice I used several kind of teaching strategies
which I think it is very useful to use it. To begin with, enhancing
learner to answer question even it is wrong. For instance, when I
ask students question I try to give them some time to think if
they still didnt know the answer I ask question in different way
so it help them to find answer or choosing other students to help
them. This way help learner to have chance to answer even it is
wrong. According to Krashens hypotheses that it teacher use
effective way in teaching the leaner will have low effective filter
which make them feel relax and comfortable (Krashen's 6
Hypotheses, 2011). Secondly, choosing assistance for learner to
help other students. In teaching practice, when I give students
active to work individually and first leaner who finished the work

first will be assistant. I use this way because some students like
to learn from pairs or teacher have some work so using helper
will be a good idea. Finally, giving clear instruction for each
activity. In addition, teacher need to use body language and
gesture to explain things. This is because this will help learner to
understand especially who have low levels. When I create
activities most of them I prefer it to be groups because students
can work, share things together. In addition, I teach boys school
which they love to challenge each groups. According to Harmer
that teacher should have differentiating grouping for each
activity and using group work have some positive impact such as
exchange opinion, promotes cooperation and increase
negotiation (Harmer, 2001). Sometime I engage leaner with
game which called jigsaw and most of the learner enjoy to
connect pieces and find out what is the picture. This kind of
activity is reliable because students will motivate and try to work
together. Furthermore, I use this activity for leaner to find out
what lesson is about? This is good way of using engagement
especially at the morning because some students still feel sleep
so we need to have activity that make them feel active. At
school that I have trained the teacher is centered most of the
time because it is boys school and it is difficult to ask learner to
be centered. This is because boys knows with their noise and do
not listen to each other.

I method that I was use during teaching and it was effective is
group activity. For example when I give students poster and I
asked them to stick all photo that require in questions and I was
surprise. This is because learner were listen to my instruction and
no one start unite I told them. In addition, while I observer them
they were working in team helping each other and listen to their
group. In my opinion, using group activity is very good idea
because it is stimulate learner to cooperate with each other and
learn.
In conclusion, leaning objective is good way to for teacher to
use it to help them while they preparing lesson and choosing
appropriate things that lead to the aim. Teacher need to get ideas
about lesson by asking learner or observer and write some
comment. Each teachers have their worn way of teaching
strategies and choosing some of them rather than other because
teacher notice what things make learner much active. In addition,
the most useful and interactive learner like to do it is group work
to help them to develop team work and divide work between
them.
