- 2 digit addition and subtraction, and will
begin to learn about 3 digit addition and
subtraction with regrouping.
- tell time on a digital and analog clock to
the nearest 5 minutes and minute.

- Participate in collaborative

conversations with diverse partners

about grade 2 topics and texts with
peers and adults in small and larger
groups

Writing Goals
-Continue to work on informative
and explanatory texts.
The students will be reading books
and using the internet to learn
about an animal of their choice and
then write about it.

- counting money using pennies, nickels,

dimes, quarters, and dollars. We will also
begin learning about shapes in 2D and 3D
and their different attributes.

Science
We will be learning about weather.
We will study different weather
instruments used, about severe
weather, clouds, the water cycle,
and graphing the weather.
