My career objective is to apply my military and civilian training in law enforcement and K-9 handling towards the
development of a well-trained and organized kennel. My ultimate goal is to advance my career by becoming Kennel
Master.

WORK EXPERIENCE
2014-Present K-9 Handler, APG Police Department, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD
Train and work alongside military working dogs to detect contraband from entering the installation.
Patrols military installation by motor vehicle or on foot to enforce the law and to deter individuals
from violating the law, respond to alarm and 911 calls, and follow guidance to resolve citizen
complaints.
2005-2014

Patrol Officer, APG Police Department, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD


Worked as a Department of the Army Police Officer responsible for maintaining law and order, while
protecting life, property and the civil rights of individuals. Implemented federal, state and local laws.

2002-2005

Patrol Supervisor (SGT), United States Army, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD


Served as patrol supervisor for both military and civilian officers on rotating shifts. Implemented
leave policy and recorded time of hours for employees. Managed and maintained all equipment,
including, but not limited to radios, vehicles, and entry control point equipment. Monitored
productivity, job performance and initiative of subordinate military police officers to evaluate
employee performance and to ensure that objectives and goals of both the individual and installation
were met. Assisted, established timeline's, and reviewed the work of subordinate officers on filling
out various types of paperwork, in conducting vehicle inspections, and in the proper cleaning of
weapons and handcuffs. Taught, trained and enforced interpersonal communication skills between
officers and the public. Responsible for dispatching patrols to calls for service of citizen complaints
and directed officers to apprehend violators by following specific protocol.

1997-2002

Provided personal security, travel, customs, transportation and accommodating assistance to
general officers and distinguished visitors. Performed various office administration duties to include
the use of office automation equipment and personal and government computers. Supervised teams
of personal security agents. Conducted advance site missions to include building security/floor
plans and exit locations, main and alternate driving routes and safe havens. Enforced overseas
policies and regulations as required.

Proficient and qualified in Radar/Lidar, Anti-Terrorist Evasive Driving, K9 Handling, Active Shooter, 9MM pistol, M16
Assault Rifle, 12 Gauge Shot Gun, Pepper Spray and ASP. Certified as a Maryland First Responder.
