Task 3
You need to send a bill to Kelly Robin for bowling during the month of February 2015.
1. Open Excel and copy the
information shown to the left onto a
blank spreadsheet.
2. Note the following:
o A1:C1 is merged and
centered
o A2:C2 is merged and
centered
o Shade the appropriate
cells and add gridlines
3. Select C5:C23 and change
the formatting to Currency with 2
decimal places and $ symbol.
4. In cell C7, C11, and C15
enter a formula that will add the
bowling costs for each day.
5. In cell C17, enter a formula
that will add the total bowling costs
for the month.
6. In cell C18, enter a formula
that will calculate a 20% discount.
7. In cell C19, enter a formula
that subtracts the total sale and the
discount.
8. In cell C20, enter a formula
that calculates the tax.
9. In cell C21, enter a formula
that adds the tax and the Amount
Due Before Taxes
10. In cell C23, enter a formula that calculates the change due.
11. Enter your name in B25
12. Save the spreadsheet as BowlingInvoice.
Task 4
You want to see how many students from each class are interested in the bowling
club. You decide to create a chart using the data youve collected.
1. Open Google Drive and create a new spreadsheet.
2. Save the spreadsheet as ReviewSpreadsheet.
3. In the spreadsheet, type the information below:
4. Create a bar chart using the information above. Add the following features to
the chart:
a. Chart Title: Student Interest by class
b. No legend
c. Horizontal Axis Title: Number of Students
d. Left Vertical Axis Title: Class
e. All columns should be yellow
5. Insert the chart below the data you previously typed in #3.
6. Save the presentation to your SHARED Google Drive folder.
Task 5
You decide to also send out a packet of information to potential bowling club
members that covers the costs of being a member of the bowling club.
1. Open Google Drive. Upload the document titled ReviewDocument from the
Final folder in the M: Drive. Open the document so youre able to edit it in
Google Documents.
2. Reformat the document so it matches the pictures on the next page (each
rectangle represents one page). Note the following:
a. Add page breaks where indicated (page 2 will be blank until you add the
Table of Contents)
b. All pages are numbered in the lower right corner
c. On page 1, the title is bold, centered, size 48
d. On page 2, insert a Table of Contents (One Game, Shoe Rental, and
Bowling Ball should be included)
e. On pages 3-5, add a related picture using the Research tool (the picture
does NOT have to match the exact pictures used below)
3. Save the presentation to your SHARED Google Drive folder.
