Key Messages: Allah gives life to us and helps us grow and learn. Allah gives us knowledge
that helps us to look after ourselves and the people around us. Allah is Rabb al-alamin, the lord
of the worlds and the maintainer of all beings
Attention Grabber/Introduction: Poster 2. Ask the children to tell about the activities different
people are doing in the poster. Guide the children to perceive that all the people in the poster are
involved in earning their living from the produce of the earth and the sea. . Help them realize that
Allah is kind and merciful.
Deepening the Knowledge/ Understanding: Book 2, pages 23-32. Questions to ask are: How
do people benefit from the animals they keep on farms? Where are the birds flying and how do they
know in which direction to fly? Why do people build the canal and who helped them in building it?
Help children to realize how important is Allahs creation and how all creatures depend on Allah for
their sustenance. Allah gave us abilities to acquire knowledge which helps us look after ourselves.
Book 1 pages 18-21. Assist the children to identify the creatures and how each is able to look after
itself. Remind that Allah has given all his creatures the ability to look after themselves.
