Hello and welcome to English 12. In English 12, you will further develop
your skills in seven areas: reading, writing, speaking, listening, viewing,
representing, and working in groups. This is accomplished through
completing assignments in these skill areas while you study literature from
the traditional genres in English (short stories, drama, poetry, non-fiction,
the media). By English 12, you should be consuming and creating works of
significant sophistication.

to the class, that version of the assignment is over

EXPECTATIONS
Come to class on time every day, prepared for work with all necessary
materials.
Let me know in advance if you are going to be away.
If you are away, promptly check with me or someone else in the class about
what you missed (or look at the website) and come to flex to get caught up.
Treat yourself and others with respect.
Getting behind? Come and see me before things snowball!
Cell phones, IPods and other electronic distractions are not welcome in
class.
Skipped a class? You skipped the opportunity for those marks.
Plagiarism is unacceptable.
Students should utilize flex on a regular basis.
I will use my website http://lcastonguay.weebly.com to communicate assignments,
grades, and resources. Parents and students are advised to check the website first
if they are away or have a question.
