media are a few of my passions in life. I am a quick

I work closely with a 9-person technology team to ensure that


deadlines are met to design and launch a $2M educational alternate reality game sponsored by NASA and the National Science
Foundation. I also oversee and work with the promotions team
to get the word out about the game to all national news outlets,
museums and schools. I also conduct administrative office work.

I worked as assistant to the director of external relations for the


college. I interviewed, supervised, trained and coordinated work
schedules for six student employees and delegated work assignments. I wrote and copy-edited articles for the college website
and worked extensively with faculty department chairs to ensure
they were pleased with our efforts. I also worked with Photoshop,
Indesign, iMovie, creating press kits, pitching news conferences,
and overseeing the social media strategy.

Public Relations Consultant

Selected as one of 13 students to work with Fortune 500 company


Marriott International. Our work included creating various deliverables for the Marriot hotels in the Caribbean Latin American
region such as a manager response guide for social media, a Twitter best-practices guide and collecting individual research about
hotels. I also presented in front of 100 general managers at the
annual conference in Cancun, Mexico and facilitated a breakout
session for 20 managers.

The Universe

I wrote for the theatre and dance beat on the life desk at the
university newspaper, The Universe. We pitched and wrote two
stories a week, one for the web and the other for print.
