SHEAVE & FRAME ASSEMBLIES
Nobles Sheave and Frame Assemblies are available in a range of
sizes to suit loadings and rope diameters as required. Single or
double arrangements can be manufactured. Standard Nobles
sheaves can be used or application specific sheaves and frames
can be designed. NFF Series Double Row Roller Bearings are
supplied as standard but other bearing or bushing options are

available. Surface finishes can also be specified at the time of

enquiry. A rope guard is supplied to prevent slack ropes from
leaving the sheave, which can be mounted in 3 different positions.
400-15 SG iron is used as standard for sheaves, and grade 250
steel for the frame. Other materials available for higher strength
and wear applications.

ANCHOR FAIRLEADERS
Nobles Anchor Fairleaders are made of high quality materials and
are built tough to withstand the breaking load of the nominated
rope at all orientations. Specifications including base plates and
surface finish can be altered to suit installation requirements.
We can custom design anchor fairleaders to suit any normal rope
diameter.
Nobles Anchor Fairleaders feature:

Handling lug for easy installation

Galvanised sheaves that can be hardened on request

SL04 sealed sheave bearings

Pivoting head with hardened side plates

Rounded lip bead to ensure longer rope life

Sealed greased housing with heavy duty tapered

roller bearings

Horizontal Lead Sheaves are

also available upon request.
