Method 4:
In certain case studies in the course book, toilets are treated by the element of the zone
irrespective of its relationship to earth. For example, toilet in North is treated by Aluminum. The
rationale here is that in space surgery or elemental strip technique we are actually creating a
virtual wall along the three sides of the toilet seat to cut off that activity from the rest of the
layout, and this can be done safely by using the element of the zone.
In my opinion, use the above methods in the order of preference as written in this write-up, so
method 1 should be given first preference over method 2 and so and so forth.
Another important thing, many MEs have tried to treat the toilet seat on the wall in case of wall
mounted toilet seats. Please note that since you are virtually cutting off the area where the
activity is performed from the layout, the space surgery and elemental strip has to be applied on
the floor irrespective whether the toilet seat is wall mounted or floor-mounted.
A natural question which will arise in ones mind is What will happen to the elemental balance
of the zone on which treatment is applied, for example, Wont a depleted North become further
weak if we treat the toilet with tin? To answer that please bear in mind that here we are
treating the toilet and that is the priority. Enhancement or depletion of the zone is a by-product
of it. You can increase the strength of a zone (enhance) or weaken it (depletion) by several
other methods like color of tiles, walls, etc.
So for example, you can use tin in North even if it is weak as per bar chart and also apply grey
colored tiles in the toilet to increase the bar chart strength of the North zone. So these two steps
will ensure that toilet is also treated and North zone is also enhanced.
The same principles can be used effectively to remove any imbalance of Vastu.
Answer:
It still needs to be treated otherwise it may dispose off the property of that zone. In
this case it is treated by Tin (if in East) and Brass (if in SW). By treating it you are
creating a virtual enclosure around it such that it does not dispose off the properties
of that zone.
The color of the tiles have to be considered with respect to zone and the relationship
between the element of the zone and element of the color (of tiles)
Question: For wall mounted toilet seats we should only treat on the floor of the toilet or can treat
both the way. Please explaian. Iif toilets is in West zone and wall mounted then we
have to place iron metal on both I.e. Wall as well as flooring right? OR only on wall.
Answer:
When treating a toilet using elemental strip or space surgery technique we are in
effect creating a virtual wall to remove the toilet seat from the rest of the vastu. Since
walls are made vertically so the treatment has to be done only on the floor whether in
case of floor mounted toilet seat or wall mounted.
