The reasons for the seasons is because the Earth is tilted on its axis. This causes the
Earths surface to receive direct sunlight during the summer and indirect sunlight during
the Winter. The revolution of the Earth around the Sun causes a cycle of the four
seasons every year. The tilt of the Earth on its axis also causes the Northern and
Sothern hemispheres to experience opposite seasons through out the year.
