I am a senior at James Madison University graduating in May 2015, majoring in Organizational Communication with a minor in
Writing. With demonstrated experience in virtual teaming, leadership, task and project management, my goal is to fully leverage my
strong interpersonal and communication skills in pursuit of my new adult post-education career.

Created a newsletter every semester highlighting our achievements, which was sent to headquarters, families, and
alumni.
Produced weekly informational updates for chapter members.
Developed a JMU Theta Tumblr blog.
Panhellenic Council, national governing body of all sororities 2013-2014
Rho Gamma (Recruitment Guide) (13)
Nominated by the national governing body of all sororities and selected from over 2,000 peers to serve as a role model,
mentor, and leader both within the Council and amongst the Fall 2014 recruitment class.
The above required temporary disaffiliation from my chapter while leading and contributing to many virtual team
assignments.
VP Rho Gamma (13-14)
Voted by the Panhellenic Council to lead the Fall 2014 recruitment involving 1,000+ potential new members, which
included but was not limited to the following responsibilities:
Personally interviewing 200+ candidates for a select 50 Rho Gamma positions.
Developing and delivering all University approved curriculum used during Fall 2014 recruitment.
Maintaining all communication within my immediate team and across all others associated with Fall 2014
recruitment to ensure cohesion of the project.
Assimilating a new Panhellenic Advisor into the execution of the recruitment plan and process.
Celebrating the success of the largest recruitment class in the history of JMU.
James Madison University Orientation
Orientation Operations Assistant (Feb. 2013-Aug. 2013)
Selected for 1 of 5 OOA positions from a recruitment pool of 120 candidates.
Managed my peers and collaborated with fellow OOAs to provide excellent customer service to 10,000+ students and
families during 18 Summer Springboard orientation sessions, along with the 1787 August Orientation.
Scheduled students and families for Summer Springboard sessions through the Orientation reservation database.
Orientation Office Assistant (Sept. 2012- Feb. 2013)
Developed proficiency with using the Microsoft Office Suite [email, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint].
Worked with the Orientation reservation database for incoming transfer students and their families while assisting
them with their transition to JMU and the December Transfer Orientation program.
Applied editorial skills through editing and proofing the Orientation One Book and other informational materials.

Produced 200+ heart-shaped pillows through the Heart Pillow Project and continue to donate them to breast
cancer patients after reconstructive surgeries.
Developed a fundraising page through the National Breast Cancer Foundation, raising over $500.
