District Leadership Team Minutes

Old Business:
Pay increase approved
New Business:
With adding positions we need 1 new iPad and 2 new keyboards for coaches
N*PIT (Eric):
4 new people this year
Finding mentors after the people start so that they can get a feel for personalities
Recommended a $50 pay increase for positions - money comes from Title 2 fund. Current $450
for coordinator and $350 for mentors. Mentors put in roughly 20 hours of work each year.
Will ask Kristie if there is money
No one thought it was an unreasonable request
Goals Grid:
Sub-committee that includes admin and Colleen will meet on September 11 to fill in dates
PLC Topics:
HS September: Irish Pride worksheet, How to write goals, and Learning Targets
Elem September: Lindsey P - TAT and Becky & Kris Triangles
HS has a plan to cover rubric topics each month
PLC Attendance:
Absences (besides illness) need to be submitted ahead of time in writing - we are looking at
how it should be correctly worded - gray area needs to be GONE!
Requisition Form for PLC Purchases:
Looked at a rough draft of the form and gave suggestions
Para Participation in PLC:
In Elm (for sure) paras will join the SpEd PLC for one hour of late start to discuss Nurtured
Heart
Elm does book discussions as well
HS needs to plan for paras - might to the late start idea like the elem.
Worlds Best Workforce:
DLT is the WBWF committee
Doc will be on the website soon
MCA Scores:
Math - 10% above state average as a district
Science - around state average as a district
Reading - 5% above state average as a district
Did not make Q-Comp goals by .4
SMART Goals:
Looking at some different options - might do cells of specific groups such as free and reduced,
SpEd or partials
Will stay with reading for this year
Break-out committee to look at data (Kelly, Amy, Kris, Dave, Mark and Colleen) - September 11
at 3:10 in the boardroom

Other Topics:
Is there money in the supply budget for snacks on late start days to boost moral? It would be
roughly $345 a year for each school.
YES!
Adam Ronnenberg has volunteered to pick stuff up for Elementary
HS needs a volunteer
Part-time Staff (less than half time) and Q-Comp:
Staff can be a part of Q-Comp
Staff will be observed
