College of Charleston. ________ has been my student for two semesters, and she as has exhibited
academic ability and ambition that goes above and beyond the level at which most entering graduate
students perform. For example, she worked with me one-on-one this fall semester, submitting writing
assignments weekly in an effort to improve her writing skills. As a result of her perseverance, I have
noticed significant progress in her writing ability.
_______ has also proven herself to be a very bright young woman. During class discussions, she
has often made critical points that demonstrated her outstanding ability to read critically and successfully
analyze difficult material. The same critical thinking consistently appears in her written work, as well.
