TIME WAGES PLAN
 Under this plan wages payment,employ are paid for
the period of time for which they have been employed.
 this method is usually employed when there is more
importense is given to the quality of work and the
nature of work is such that it can not easily
standarized.


PIECE WAGES PLAN
 Under this wages plan worker earnings are in
direct proportion to their output .
 this method is usually employed when there is a
need for production of large numbers and the units
of work produced can be easily standarized.
SKILL-BASED PAY
 Under this system of wages payment,employ
are compensated for their job related skill.
 under a typical skill based system companies
hire employ at below market rate once they
gain extensive knowledge and new skill they
are promoted and rewarded with an increase
pay.

COMPETENCY-BASED PAY
 Under this system of wages payment wages
are paid according to knowledge ,skills and
behavior of an individual that contribute to a
worker’ performance.
BROADBANDING
 It is a base pay technique ,reduced the
number of salary levels into broad salary
band. The band normally have a fixed
minimum and maximam which overlap with
other band.
For example:-

 salary band for entry levels job is 10000-

18000
 salary band for next levels can be 12500-

22000
