Graduate Liberal Studies Program at Hamline University, where shes taught since
1991. She has particular interest in helping busy people tend their spiritual lives.
Executive director of WomanWell a place for spirituality and healing, Delmarie's
passion has been to create environments and opportunities whereby people can become
empowered to do the work for which they have been called. WomanWell has provided
that space for these past thirteen years. The challenge and excitement has been to
recognize that we are part of this evolving Universe Story.
"I have been able to anchor faith only in the greater cosmological story: the story that
includes the unfolding of our universe without limit or expectation, that is a large
enough story to contain whatever happens in my life and yet capable of being held in the
"vacuum" at the center of the smallest particle of matter of my being.
I have a place in this story always have and always will. It is a faith based in
connection to all that is, held in the paradox of the repetitive cycles of nature and by
contrast the unpredictable form that the creative force at the heart of it all takes with
each new moment. It is a faith I can nurture and practice by simply being who I am. I

David was a Benedictine monk for many years. His spiritual direction work
draws on a number of different traditions including yoga, qigong, and tai-chi.

Rev. Robersmith expects Unitarian Universalists to have more

questions than answers and to find inspiration in many sources. In
his own spiritual life, he draws most strongly from the Christian
contemplative and mystic tradition of the west, his interest in and
love of science and the arts, and earth-centered theologies that draw http://www.secondunitarian.org/

Kay Vander Vortis the first laywoman to have joined the staff of
Loyola Spirituality Center in 1985. Trained in spiritual direction at
the Wayzata Cenacle, she earned her Masters Degree in Theology
St. Catherine University. From 1997 to 2012 Kay served as Director
of the Graduate Certificate program in Spiritual Direction at St.
Catherine's. In spiritual direction I am blessed by listening to life
stories. Spiritual direction offers the opportunity to spend at least
one hour each month to explore the traces of God in one's life as
well as other aspects that are part of the human journey. This is in
vivid contrast to modern communication which so often consists of
"sound bites."
