allowed me to see what patients might see in the Hoxsey clinic and the opposing
argument of my opinion.

view of present day Mohs surgery. It was very interesting to see how the public viewed
Mohs surgery as a method discovered in the 1930s even though it had been modernized
multiple times throughout history

Frederic Mohs' achievements have effected present day life and other fields of study in
colleges.

[Madison]: n. pag. Print. This was a very interesting article and showed me what the
medical community first saw and read about Mohs Technique and helps me understand
why they reacted in such a way.

was not a very reliable website, this was a very interesting source that argues the side of
Hoxsey and helped me to understand and see the other side of my argument.

FDA (Food and Drug Administration) and AMA (American Medical Association) had a
40 year long battle against Harry Hoxsey and is use of an uneffective drug to "cure
cancer". I used this source to see what the public was seeing while the Hoxsey issue was
prevalent.

Hoxsey and his lies about his cures for cancer. This interview transcript allowed me to
see and understand what the FDA was thinking while trying the solve the Hoxsey
problem.

sources I got from it was very important to my research. I got to read about the
observations of the effects of Hoxsey's treatment on 4 real people in an observational

study. This source especially showed me how prominent the Hoxsey treatment still is
today.

the son of Mohs, Frederic Mohs Jr., and gave me the kind of family life Mohs led and
how is work life effected his family.
Mohs,=, Frederic E. "Frederic E. Mohs, M.D." Journal of the American Academy of
Dermatology 9.5 (1983): n. pag. Print. Frederic E. Mohs wrote this article about his life's
story and helped me understand all the important details in his life that other people had
missed. It also allowed me to view his creation of his technique through his eyes.

The sources was very important to me as it described Mohs work to me from the view of

was a very important source that let me view what the medical community first saw of
Frederic Mohs' discovery. THis was the first article about his technique.

given about his father, was heard and summarized. This gave me a second look at
Frederic Mohs Jr.'s Remembering Dr. Frederic Mohs speech.

secondary source this article supplied me with many quotes from Mohs' underlings. It
was one of the first resources I read and gave me a strong base to start me research upon.
Elston, Dirk M. "Escharotic Agents, Fred Mohs, and Harry Hoxsey." Journal of the American
Academy of Dermatology 53.3 (2005): 523-25. Print. This is the first source that I read
that allowed me to see a connection between Harry Hoxsey and Frederic Mohs. This
showed me the counter argument for my thesis statement.

and was very important because it gave me context to the other methods beside Mohs,
used today. I also found very artistic and detailed picture at this website that helped me
explain Mohs surgery on my website.

important because it gave me a lot of context and show me the difference between Mohs

although it is very large with a lot of detail I got a very strong base to start the rest of my
