Outline Of ideas

I always planning on doing something hard hitting and


serious, thats when smoking came into the picture

I did some research on smoking adverts and found that theirs


very little adverts about passive smoking, which gave me the
basis to my idea

Then came the idea of making it all about the facts of


smoking. I wanted to make the advert simple but hard hitting
making everyone react.

advert I will direct it at the

My main

all about second
hand/ passive
smoking.
Smoking at a young age is
becoming increasingly popular
and increasingly dangerous,
so I really wanted to push a
teenagers reaction to
smoking.

When people think of


smoking they think of
the smoker and all the
harmful effects it
gives them, forgetting
what smoke is doing
to everyone around
them.
When creating my
advert I wanted to
bring across the
cold hard facts of
what
smoking
does.

Everyone and anyone. Its a smoking advert. Almost everyone
will know someone who smokes.

I didnt just want to make the smokers react to this advert I


wanted the friends and family who didnt smoke to react as well

I wanted everyone to realise that just being around someone


who smokes can harm you.

I found that there are more smokers in the north so I wanted to


make sure that people who live in the north will watch the
advert and react to it

I would say my advert is a dramatic documentary

Dramatic because it gets our attention and makes us think


about what were doing

Documentary because it tells the truth, we can trust it

Theres a few aspects that I needed to
consider when creating my advert, with the
main being that I make sure I dont promote
smoking in anyway. This being the last thing I
was intending to do.

Secondly I would need to make sure that the


advert was hard hitting and informative,
however I cant cross from hard hitting to
distressing, making the audience feel
unnerving and uneasy in there home.

Did you know that heart
disease was the leading form
of death in England and
Wales in 2012 with 15.60%,
followed by lung cancer with
7.00%.

Did you know that passive


smoking can increase the
chance of getting lung
cancer or heart disease

I want these fgures to


drop, and Im sure there
are a lot of other people
who would feel the same
way.

These are the two


main health risks that
could occur when
smoking.

So why should you choose me. Its simple.

Everyone has a right to clean
