Cut 5 pieces of paper (3 X 3 )

Cut 2 pieces of matte board for cover (2 X 2)
Cut 2 pieces of cover paper (3 X 3)
Fold the 5 pieces of paper and crease all folds as follows: in half horizontally, open, in half
vertically, open, flip over, fold diagonally in one direction, open.
Cover the matte board with the cover paper as follows: put down a sheet of newspaper to protect
the paper from glue. Apply glue to the cover paper, making sure you cover all the edges. Center
the board on the cover paper. Run your hand over the cover paper to smooth out any air bubbles.
Now you are ready to glue down the edges of the cover paper. First fold in the corners. Next
fold in the sides. Practice good craftsmanship.
Glue pages together, flat square to flat square. Make sure the valley folds face outwards and the
mountain folds inward.
Cut a piece of ribbon 1 2 feet long.
Glue ribbon to end covers as illustrated. Glue pages to the cover, making sure the closed end of
the pages is glued to where the end covers connect.
