PRIZE DISTRIBUTION CEREMONY 2015

With an aim to acknowledge the efforts of students in various spheres like

academics, co-curricular activities and affective domain, the Annual Prize
Distribution Ceremony was held at DPSG on 26 th January 2015. Mr. Shashi
Bhushan Upadhyay, District Employment Officer, Ghaziabad, Col. Tejinder Pal
Tyagi and Mr RK Sharma, Joint Secretary and CAO,DPSG Society were the
dignitaries present to bless and encourage the students. The students of class IX
presented a spectacular cultural programme which regaled the audience.
Highlighting the role of the youth in shaping the destiny of the country, Principal,
Ms. Jyoti Gupta congratulated the proud winners of all the categories. Expressing
her best wishes on the auspicious occasion of the 66th Republic day of the nation,
she urged the students to be committed in keeping the country clean and display
utmost grit and determination to achieve their goals for the welfare of the
country. She said that the school nurtures the students in such a way that they
remain beautiful human beings.
Chief Guest Mr. Shashi Bhushan Upadhyay appreciated the efforts of the school
in giving quality education to the students and motivated the students to be aware
and sensitive about the contemporary issues of the society to be responsible
citizens of future. Col. Tyagi congratulated and complimented the parents for their
wards remarkable performance and expressed his vision of uniting India with the
slogan Jai Hind. He further added that a multi-dimensional growth is needed to
succeed in life. The programme came to an end with the Vote of Thanks proposed
by Ms Anita Sethi, Head Mistress, Senior Secondary Wing.
