Have you ever seen someone dance on the internet that

makes you go like oh my god how can they dance so good? well
dance is not that easy that as you think it is. Its a lot of hard
work. You have to train a lot to be a really good dancer and if
you are a really good dance you can become very famous.

In this book Ill tell you some facts about dance and other
things about dance.

What is Dance?

Dance is an piece of art. Dance takes a lot of time to
achieved. Dance is a lot of fun when you go on tournaments and
you get prizes and you get to show people what you can do.
Dance is not that easy as you think because if you want to be a
good dancer you have to work a lot. But if you are already a
good dancer and you want to become famous that would be even
more work

Different Types of Dance

Hip Hop

Hip hop is a dance were you are mostly relaxed. You
would most bend your knees. This type of dance you
would mostly dance to songs that are very powerful
even some pop songs can be used in choreographies.

Disco
In disco you use your
muscles a lot because, in
disco you dance to a really fast music and you
need to be able to move really fast. So you
need to have to have strength to stop your
hands or legs in the right moment.

Jazz

In this type of dance you need to be flexible with
your back and your legs. Mostly you would do
splits in the air and many other really cool tricks
like front walk over and back walkover. This
dance may be one of the hardest type of dance
because people can be jazz dancers but not
everybody can be those jazz dancers that have
the flexibility in their body.

My Dance Events

These are going are the events that I already have gone to or not
yet. On the 07.09.2014 it was the 6th tournament in Poland but somewhere
very far away Warsaw. We had to travel 7 hours to get there.

On the 30.10.2014 was the championships, in Blue City in Warsaw. In
the championships we were very nervous because it was our first
champion ship from 5 months of working.

The event I am going to go is also the dance camp. I will also go on
a tournament on the 14.02.2015. I went to the dance camp last year and it
also took us like 7-9 hours by bus to get there and each year the camp is
in the same place and in the same hotel.

Working as a Dancer

Do you get paid?

You can get paid if somebody

wants you to dance somewhere like on their

party. I don't get paid because I am not

a professional dancer or neither my

group. But we do go on tournaments

but still we don't get paid.

Is it fun?

Yes, its a lot of fun. Personally the best part

for me is when you are on the stage dancing

for the judges. The second best part for me

is when you get to wait on the stage for your

place. Sometimes people are very proud of them

selfs no matter what place they get, but sometimes

people are disappointed.

Conclusion

This book has shown you some type of dances, some about a

dancers life and many things. I hope you learned something and

About the Author

I am Anh, I am 11 years old and I am in 5th grade. I live
in Warsaw, Poland. I was born in Warsaw. My favourite colour
is light blue. My favourite food is pizza. I like to play sport
such as : volleyball, soccer, hockey, dance, badminton, and
tennis. My favourite subject in school is P.E, Art and Music. I
have two brothers and no sisters even though I wish I had
one. I really like dancing I started dancing since I was 5
years old. I danced in an old polish dance club but now I am
dancing in the Egurrola Dance Studio. I also really like
playing piano and listening to music, dance and music is my
life.
