depicted work associated with a specific type of personality. These types are derived from Dr. John
Holland's theory of careers and vocational choice, known as Holland Codes.

personality. You should use this list of occupations as prototypical examples. A total of 20
occupations are suggested based on your score.
Librarians
Administer libraries and perform related library services. Work in a variety of settings, including
public libraries, educational institutions, museums, corporations, government agencies, law firms,
non-profit organizations, and healthcare providers. Tasks may include selecting, acquiring,
cataloguing, classifying, circulating, and maintaining library materials; and furnishing reference,
bibliographical, and readers' advisory services. May perform in-depth, strategic research, and
synthesize, analyze, edit, and filter information. May set up or work with databases and information
systems to catalogue and access information.
Social and Human Service Assistants
Assist in providing client services in a wide variety of fields, such as psychology, rehabilitation, or
social work, including support for families. May assist clients in identifying and obtaining available
benefits and social and community services. May assist social workers with developing, organizing,
and conducting programs to prevent and resolve problems relevant to substance abuse, human
relationships, rehabilitation, or dependent care.
Archivists
Appraise, edit, and direct safekeeping of permanent records and historically valuable documents.
Participate in research activities based on archival materials.
Treasurers and Controllers
Direct financial activities, such as planning, procurement, and investments for all or part of an
organization.
Human Resources Assistants, Except Payroll and Timekeeping
Compile and keep personnel records. Record data for each employee, such as address, weekly
earnings, absences, amount of sales or production, supervisory reports, and date of and reason for
termination. May prepare reports for employment records, file employment records, or search
employee files and furnish information to authorized persons.
Credit Checkers
Investigate history and credit standing of individuals or business establishments applying for credit.
Telephone or write to credit departments of business and service establishments to obtain
information about applicant's credit standing.
Municipal Clerks
Draft agendas and bylaws for town or city council; record minutes of council meetings; answer
official correspondence; keep fiscal records and accounts; and prepare reports on civic needs.
Credit Analysts
Analyze credit data and financial statements of individuals or firms to determine the degree of risk
involved in extending credit or lending money. Prepare reports with credit information for use in
decision making.
Compensation, Benefits, and Job Analysis Specialists
Conduct programs of compensation and benefits and job analysis for employer. May specialize in
specific areas, such as position classification and pension programs.
